Projects of the German-European Institute of Journalism for the development and erection of journalism schools are supported by different bodies:
- Not only journalists can be in the middle of and up close to this important mission by becoming a member of the development association
- Small and large enterprises, institutions under public law and private media corporations, journalists’ associations, public institutions, other educational institutions and universities have already confirmed their support
- Tangible conversations have been held about donations and funding The institute can be supported by financial contributions.
Cooperation regarding practicalities (such as setting up contacts) and of course practical support (e.g. experienced journalists volunteering as teachers) help the project in its further development. All contributors of the German-European Institute of Journalism are active on a voluntary basis.
